Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been achieved on hardcourt
A comeback Medvedev claimed his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has experienced a difficult period, achieving just one match at the major tournaments and suffering a difficult moment at the American major.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in particular - caused him falling of the elite rankings and finally separating with long-time trainer his previous coach.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, he has gradually progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a tightly fought competitive win over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's initial championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court after spring of the previous year.
The win also indicates he has won twenty-one titles at twenty-one distinct tournaments.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a championship is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the maiden victory I won when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his past six title deciders, comprising in that event in the past months.
His retrieving play style and regular outbursts on court had led commentators to wonder if his capacity to compete at the elite level was finished.
However the player has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, striving to come to the net and compete aggressively, supported by an improved serve.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the first set against the difficult opponent, taking four of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The pair exchanged breaks in the following set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden tour title, took control to force a final set.
He saved four early-game chances in a tight third set before the Russian won the break to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, he secured victory with a shot at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
