The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear mismatched, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as important members in the powerful family could assist the group reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that control the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Schemers groups.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which players will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
